Does Keloa actually look up real orders in our Shopify store?
Yes. The Shopify order tool calls the Shopify Admin API mid-conversation and returns real fulfilment status, tracking number, and carrier, pulled live, not from a stale cache. Your policies pages and product pages are also indexed into the knowledge base. So 'where is my order?' hits the live API; 'what is your return policy?' hits the indexed policy page, with citations.
Is the Shopify integration native or do we need Zapier?
Native. One OAuth click in Settings, Integrations, Shopify. No Zapier, no middleware, no separate webhook config. Orders, customers, and products sync into the knowledge base. The agent gets a Shopify lookup tool the moment you connect.
Will the AI ever leak one customer's order to another customer?
Structurally no. The Shopify order lookup requires both order number and email and refuses to run without both. This is enforced in code, not in a system prompt the AI might ignore. A customer asking 'what is the status of order #4821?' without providing the email gets a polite 'I will need the email on the order to look that up', every time.
Does Keloa work for stores not on Shopify?
Yes for the chat widget, email channel, and website-crawl knowledge base. The native order-lookup tool is Shopify-specific today. For WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or a custom backend, use the custom HTTP tool to wire your own order-lookup endpoint, the AI calls it the same way it calls Shopify. WooCommerce as a native integration is on the roadmap.
How does it hold up on Black Friday?

Can the AI process a refund or cancel an order?
Not natively today (Shopify scopes are read-only). For refunds or cancellations, wire your Shopify admin or your custom backend via the custom HTTP tool with POST and bearer auth. Or have the AI escalate to a human, who can refund in one click from the inbox. Most teams pick the second option for the first month and add the write tool later.
