Create your bot

Greeting on Start
When a customer taps Start, the bot sends your AI agent's greeting, at most once a day per chat. Greetings don't count toward your plan's replies.

Do I need a Telegram business account?
No. Telegram has no separate business app. Companies talk to customers through a bot you create with @BotFather in a few minutes. You paste its token into Keloa under Integrations, then Telegram, and every private chat with the bot becomes a conversation in your Keloa inbox.
Is there a 24-hour reply window on Telegram?
No. Unlike WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, Telegram lets a bot reply at any time, as long as the customer hasn't blocked it. Keloa's AI agent and your team can answer hours or days later. The customer always writes first, because a bot can't start a chat.
What can customers send to my Telegram bot?
Text, photos, videos, GIFs, voice messages, files up to 20 MB, stickers, locations and shared contacts all show in the Keloa conversation. Larger files are marked as too large, and unsafe file types such as programs and scripts are never stored. Replies from Keloa are text with bold, italic and links.
How does Keloa protect my bot token?
Keloa checks the token with Telegram when you paste it, stores it encrypted and never shows it again. Only workspace owners and admins can connect a bot. If you revoke the token in BotFather, Keloa stops receiving messages until you paste the new one. Treat the token like a password and never share it in a chat or screenshot.
Can I move an existing Telegram bot to Keloa?
Yes. A Telegram bot delivers its messages to one place only. If your bot is connected to another tool, such as a chatbot builder or your own script, Keloa shows where its messages go now and lets you move the bot. From then on messages arrive in Keloa and the other tool stops receiving them.
